An acoustic neuroma (vestibular schwannoma)
is described as a benign tumor. It grows somewhere
along the eight cranial nerve ( the acoustic nerve).

Acoustic neuromas, may or may not need surgical
intervention.

-hearing loss
-tinnitus (ringing in the ear)
