WHEN A NATURAL DISASTER STRIKES

Updated 2/25

A natural disaster may take many forms.
An earthquake, heavy flooding, landslides,
brush fires, a tsunami, a tornado, an avalanche
and more, may be called a natural disaster.

The aftermath of a natural disaster may
lead to PTSD. Other conditions may
occur, as a result of the trauma.

                     Fighting a fire

Most people do not pay attention to dehydration and its
effect on the
body, until it becomes an obvious problem.
Firefighters are among those
who are aware of dehydration.
They take
measures prior to fighting a fire, to prevent it
from happening.
