During the prenatal period, the pregnant
uterus grows as the fetus does. The fundal
height is usually measured during each visit.

during pregnancy. If the placenta develops in the
bottom of the uterus, it blocks the cervix ( neck of
the uterus) and will ultimately make vaginal delivery
impossible.
