SEPTIC SHOCK (COLD PHASE)

The management of Septic Shock (Hypodynamic phase) is very complex.
ICU monitoring is necessary. Altered mental status, fever, chills, renal failure
and ARDS are some of the complications of cold phase sepsis.

Next week the cold phase of Septic Shock will be posted. Septic Shock may be brought on by different bacteria invading the body.

Depending on the cause and the circumstances, for example if there were other underlying medical problems, the course of the illness may be long and complicated.
