Blood transfusion

A blood transfusion may be given for a number of

reasons.The patient in Hypovolemic Shock, or with
anemia are only a few of the reasons blood transfusion
may  be ordered by the doctor.
The nurse is responsible for carrying out the doctor's
orders correctly and assessing and monitoring the patient
 while the transfusion is in progress.
