WHEN THERE IS A BLOOD TRANSFUSION REACTION

Dear nurses,

Are you aware of the warning signs of a blood transfusion
reaction?

The nurse should always be aware of the warning signs
of a blood transfusion reaction. These include chills, anxiety,
flushing, itching , shortness of breath and chest pain. 

Immediate action is usually taken to stop the blood. It is
important to follow your Institution's policies and procedures.

What are some symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis?

- Arm and/or leg weakness
- Visual disturbances like diplopia (double vision)
